Here you'll find a selection of projects I've worked on during my time as a
student, including solo and team-based work, as well
as games developed during game jams. Each project reflects different
skills I've developed—from level and environment
design to programming, animation, and
prototyping.

REDACTOR EXPRÉS - A newspaper management simulator
Redactor Exprés is a game where you play as the editor-in-chief of a news outlet.
Each day, you choose which stories to publish based on public interest. Once published, your
earnings depend
on how well you match those interests and can be used to acquire more
compelling news, upgrade the newsroom, hire additional journalists, or secure better
contracts.
This prototype was developed as a response to
the Game Jam premise to create
a casual game experience that encourages individuals—especially those who
don’t typically engage with daily news—to feel more connected and curious about current
events.
This game was developed in just one week for the Ludi Awards, organized by
3Cat and GameBCN.

FROST ENGINE - A videogame engine
Frost Engine is a video game engine that I have fully programmed myself. It is based on
OpenGL and uses ImGui for the interface. The engine is capable of importing 3D models and
can also manipulate them, including moving, scaling, rotating and assigning textures. The
software also includes a GameObject hierarchy system, which allows the user to modify
parameters and add components to the game object and its children. Additional
features include an integrated audio subsystem using Wwise, with SoundSource and
SoundListener components, SoundBank loading, and audio control.

NOrb - A pixelart 2D platformer
N'Orb is a 2D platform video game featuring isometric gameplay sections with pixel art.
Embody, the protagonist, is a man who is obsessed with an idea, a thought, perfection, a
goal. In his case, this is reflected as an orb of light. When this orb is kidnapped by a
mysterious figure, the protagonist cannot allow it and sets out on his quest. Soon, his
insecurities and fears began to manifest in his sleep. The game features timed 2D
platforming sections, where the player has a limited time to reatch the end of the level,
and issometric sections, where the nighmares appear in the form of combat, puzles or a mix
of both.
